Great workout today! It was hard to get up this morning, however I pushed myself to get up and once arriving at the gym, felt excited and very motivated to put in a good workout. It felt pretty easy and managable. I worked out legs, shoulder, arms, biceps and triceps. Also lots of russian twists, which is great for my abs! My diet overall was pretty good. I did have some difficulty this evening sitting in a restaurant waiting for a friend. Ended up eating a half of a basket of tortilla chips and salsa. The rest of the eating was on track. Weekends seem harder to stay focused during holidays and after a long week of working hard. My goal this weekend is to stay focused and write everything down that I eat! Here is my diet today:
Meal 1: 1/3 cup of chicken, 1/4 cup of beans, 2 eggs scrambled, 3 small corn tortillas, salsa.
Meal 2: 1/2 cup of chicken 1 cup of rice 1/2 of black beans
Meal 3: Tortilla chips and salsa and guacamole
Meal 4: 1/2 cup of rice, 1/4 cup of beans, 1 small soft taco (carne asada), 1 chicken enchilada
Total calories: 1628 without chips/guac… With chips and guac is 2108. Goal is 1800… 300 calories over goal! Will focus on drinking more water and better planning.
