According to a study ran by MyGoals.com the most popular resolutions for 2008 are as follows:
#1 – To Lose Weight
#2 – To Pay Off Debt
#3 – To Start My Own Business
This is great news to Warrion, but what troubles him is the lack of intestinal fortitude, discipline, mission accomplishment, and troop welfare of these resolutions. He is especially disheartend by the lack of follow-through with the number one resolution. Losing weight should not be an issue with our society. Remember, Warrion believes in the human as a fighter, and warrior for life. Living life to the fullest is a part of his heart, and he will extend his thoughts in this article by showing the world some simple steps to take to accomplish the number one resolution for 2009. He will also outline some issues and show ways to keep these from ambushing you on your journey to success.
He researched the resolutions and found that personal goals are broken down as follows: “Weight Loss 48%, General Fitness 22%, Diet & Nutrition (Non-Weight-Loss)12%, Health & Wellness (includes sleep) 8%, Exercise 6%, and Other 5%.(mygoals.com)” Warrion will go over each of these categories as he shows the ways to live a successful resolution through mission accomplishment, and troop welfare.
First the person will need to win this mission in the mind. Create a mental attitude of success and set the mission up for victory. He uses a mental tool called PIVADRUM which can be broken down and applied.
The P is for positive talk. In order to create and think success, one must talk success in their weight loss.
The I is for imagine. Know that there are an infinite amount of possibilities in front of the weight loss resolutionist, and the person need only choose the right possibility with their mind, words, and actions.
V is for visulize. Visualize success the same way Olympic champions visualize their success. See it in the mind and it is easier to manifest.
The A and D is for Affirm and Declare. Say it to reaffirm with oneself it is possible and it is happening. Say it aloud and say it as if it has already occurred. This sets it up in the mind and then the body will follow.
R is for Recondition. Recondition through writing it down. Set the goals and follow-through.
The U is for Understand. Understand that right now this moment is perfect. Everything happens for a reason and in this moment all that has been done has lead up to now. The beauty of now is that with a change in thoughts, actions, and words the now will become the newly decided thoughts, actions, and words.
The M is for meditation or deep breathing, relaxation techniques. Clear the mind of all that may be clogging it, keeping one from mission accomplishment.
Mission accomplishment is the first priority for Warrion, and so his recommendation is that one does anything within societies rules and regulations to create the success in weight loss. This means general fitness can be accomplished through diet and exercise, thus creating health and wellness. The direct benefit is weight loss for all of those who need to lose weight this year. Mission accomplishment is not to be taken lightly. Warrion knows if mission accomplishment is not established it creates a blue print for the mind to not achieve the next time. There is no other way, but through discipline for the mission. Accomplishment will occur if the mind is persistent.
Troop welfare is the other top priority for Warrion, which means safety and care for the body while continuing the mission. No pills, unnecessary surgeries, painful programs, overtraining, unhealthy diets, vomiting, or anorexia. Don’t be stupid. Be a warrior, and accomplish the mission! Warrion advises against the following obstacles:
Now for the following success inhibitors to create the ultimate in mission accomplishment:
With all of these areas taken care of. The most popular New Year’s Resolution will be accomplished in the quickest time, with the least resistance, and the person who accomplished the mission will look back and realize that the time it took to do it, was relatively short. Warrion can then look into the future with continued optimism for the success of society is imminent in this war on obesity.
According to mygoals.com some “actual goals people have recently set in this category:
“To fit into my favorite jeans”
“To sleep better”
“To reduce stress in my life”
“To reduce body fat to 10.6%”
This will easily be made a reality with Warrion’s Answer to the Number One New Year’s Resolution.

Solves the New Year’s Resolution, To Lose Weight,
With Simplicity, Automation, and Delegation
By: Aaron Guyett
The idea is to win or succeed in all of your endeavors and desires, and if you lose or fail, learning should occur to win the next time. This idea and the novel idea that all that has happened in the past is done and over, it can only be used to make better decisions for the future and to create the “right” actions, thoughts and words in the present. I think more than making the “right” decisions is being happy with the decisions made. So there is a one question to ask yourself before you continue. If you want to win…what is the emotion or reason behind the supposed #1 New Year’s Resolution, to lose weight?
If the reason or emotion is deep seeded enough, and the visualization of your success brings about happiness, let’s make your dreams come true!
First, let’s simplify. Losing weight is as simple as calories in and calories out. If this is true scientifically, you need only create thoughts, actions, and words to create a caloric deficit. How will you do this? Magic number 5:
Now it is time to automate. Automation frees up time for you to do other things besides calculate calories and prepare meal plans. Two ways to do this:
Last but not least delegate. Delegation of your responsibilities, accountability, and discipline is a sure fire way to keep the flame burning bright and hot! 5 ways to delegate, what the delegation is:
I believe in you, and I know you deserve success in health, wellness, and peak performance. I have been creating this success with love, happiness, and abundance for years, and I have seen a lot of people create it as well.

Good but hard day. My sinuses are stuffed and I have slight cough, so the gym was a little tough today, but it felt SO GOOD to be back there. I missed three days last week due to Vegas, but I loved getting back to it. Even though I didn’t feel that great going in because of my “cold” I felt so much better after. There is such a high after a good work-out I get that I don’t like going without it for too long.

Great but bad weekend. My eating was good, drank lots of water, worked very hard, and made lots of money. Im supposed to go to Vegas this week and want to look my best. The bad thing is, that the bar that I work at caught on fire and I don’t know if I have a job to come back to. If not, No Vegas for me. Extra stress I really don’t care for.

I am overjoyed to be alive, I am accomplishing my goals and I am thankful for the supportive people around me who help and encourage me. I am going to Vegas with a new body and I cant wait to show it off.

I love Vegas!!! So random and fun. Its snowing today, it hasn’t done this in 30 years, but my boyfriend and I get to see it. Nothing like snow on palm-trees!!! I went to a buffet today, good but bad. Good because I never cleared my plate bad because I never cleared my plate. I feel kinda bad, I took A LOT of food, but didn’t even finish a forth of it. Two things helped me do this, keeping in mind that I don’t want to wreak what I have accomplished, and I got full really fast.

Walked the strip today, must have done six miles or so. Nothing like using your own two legs to get around. I love that I out-lasted my boyfriend, and made him keep-up with me, poor thing is so tired. Been good with my eating, for two reasons, one: I get full fast and unless we are at a buffet I don’t like to waste food, two: its cheeper to share food with my boyfriend. So shared a sandwich with him for lunch. The only thing I have been bad with is the drinking, haven’t gotten wasted (nor did I want to) but they are empty calories I don’t need, but wanted, and I know I have to work it off.

Home form Vegas, and so happy. Didn’t lose all my money (came back with some of it) and I didn’t wreck what I have accomplished so far, I did gain 4Lbs but that is mostly due to me drinking. I will hit the gym, eat right, and fix what I have done. I had a great time, but I didn’t let my vacation give me the excuse to do or eat whatever I felt like.

I had a really good workout. I also did my cardio today. I stayed on my diet all day. Then I got really hungry tonight and slipped – In and Out - AUGH! There, I said it… Now I am more focused. It is out of my system. I am going to find a buddy to hold me accountable when I am tempted to blow it, I will call someone and ask for support. My Goal is to have ripped abs. I am going to take one day at a time. Tomorrow, I will not leave my house until I have set my plan on what I will eat. I will then go grocery shopping and buy healthy food. OK… I am going to make it this weekend. YEAH!

This is a post of the last four days… I did my workouts and gave all I could to them Monday, Tuesday, and Wed, which makes me feel proud. My eating was really good Monday and Tuesday. Wed, I ate very little except the Christmas eve meal… Which I kind of pigged out. I definitely did not eat as much as I could have, or had eaten in past Christmas’s. Today, I woke up with a migraine and did not eat all day. I then ate a large meal for Christmas dinner at a friends home. The time with friends was really awesome. I am so Thankful for good and special friends. They are like family to me. Overall, I have done better this year than past years regarding my eating for the holidays. I look forward to getting back in the gym tomorrow, and renewing my routine and commitment to health, happiness and abundance… I definitely see a difference with my eating. I am more in touch with my body and how it feels. I feel bloated right now, and don’t like the feel of eating a large meal. Tomorrow I will go back to and continue to stay focused and on track.

Obesity treatment programs for children and adolescents rarely have weight loss as a goal. Rather, the aim is to slow or halt weight gain so the child will grow into his or her body weight over a period of months to years.
Early and appropriate intervention is particularly valuable. There is considerable evidence that childhood eating and exercise habits are more easily modified than adult habits. Three forms of intervention include:
1. Physical Activity – Adopting a formal exercise program, or simply becoming more active, is valuable to burn fat, increase energy expenditure, and maintain lost weight.
2. Diet Management- Fasting or extreme caloric restriction is not advisable for children. Not only is this approach psychologically stressful, but it may adversely affect growth and the child’s perception of “normal” eating. Balanced diets with moderate caloric restriction, especially reduced dietary fat, have been used successfully in treating obesity. Nutrition education may be necessary.
3. Behavior Modification – Many behavioral strategies used with adults have been successfully applied to children and adolescents: self-monitoring and recording food intake and physical activity, slowing the rate of eating, limiting the time and place of eating, and using rewards and incentives for desirable behaviors.
Obesity is easier to prevent than to treat, and prevention focuses in large measure on parent education. In infancy, parent education should center on promotion of breastfeeding, recognition of signals of satiety, and delayed introduction of solid foods. In early childhood, education should include proper nutrition, selection of low-fat snacks, good exercise/activity habits, and monitoring of television viewing. In cases where preventive measures cannot totally overcome the influence of hereditary factors, parent education should focus on building self-esteem and address psychological issues.

I feel so awesome after making my goal today with my diet. I am looking forward to be in the gym tomorrow morning for another tremendous workout. I just rested today after church. I fixed a great healthy pizza from the cookbook “You on a Diet” for dinner with whole wheat crust, and fresh vegetables. It was soooo good, and I felt good after dinner as well knowing that I was eating healthy.
My menu today:
Meal 1: ham and cheese croissant
Meal 2: Chicken sandwich on whole wheat bun
Meal 3: whole wheat crackers and low fat cheddar cheese
Meal 4: Salad (lots of mixed veggies) with 0 fat Vinegarrette dressing
Meal 5: Veg and chicken Pizza on whole wheat crust and skim milk mozzerella cheese

I started off without a plan and did not do well with my eating. No excuses. I am glad I have the opportunity to “fess-up” because it helps me to get back on track right away. Instead of several days of eating poorly, I only have to have this one day. Tomorrow is a new day!
